The Finishing Touches

As the work was nearing completion the finishing touches began to appear.  Here some of the adobe coloured paint was going on the exterior.

Here is some detail of the antiqued tile work in the bedrooms.

And a few coconut palm trees being planted.

Of course construction always ends up with two supervisors for every worker.

And in the end there are three people celebrating, each thinking he is responsible for the final product. 

Timo is on the right thinking, "I'm the contractor responsible for building this.  This is my creation."

In the middle is Chimal thinking, "Silly gringos.  If it wasn't for me, you'd still be wallowing in dirt here.  This is my creation."

And me, Ernie, on the left thinking "I designed this and I'm paying for it.  This is my creation and I'm keeping it."
